Terminal X is hiring a Brand Designer to define how our product and company are remembered.
This is a rare opportunity to build a category-defining brand in a space that’s still visually undefined. You’ll shape the visual language for AI in finance and set the standard for how Terminal X shows up everywhere.

It replicates how analysts and PMs actually think, at scale: parse filings, build trade theses, stress-test models, and deliver decision-ready outputs with institutional-grade rigor.

What You’ll Own
- Brand system: Define and evolve the visual language of Terminal X. The typography, color, motion, and iconography should make every touchpoint feel distinctively Terminal X.
- Every brand surface: website, socials, deck, out of home campaigns, editorial content, and more. If it’s seen externally, you own how it looks and feels
- Product storytelling: collaborate with the marketing and product teams to turn complex systems into clear, high-signal visuals. Launches, reports, and narratives that make the product immediately legible.
- Visual Standard: You build templates, libraries, and systems that let others execute at your level. Final brand output runs through you.
Who You Are
Required
- Strong portfolio that shows you can own the brand end-to-end
- You design seamlessly across web, digital, print, motion, presentation
- You have taste. You can dissect a brand, find what’s actually special about it, and argue for the unconventional direction with conviction
- Proficient in various AI and design tools including Figma, Jitter, After Effects, Claude code, and more
- You obsess over details that matter. When a slide breaks the visual narrative, you lose sleep over it
- You consistently ship high-quality designs at speed
Strong Differentiator
- Motion design experience using After Effects, Rive, or equivalent
- Prior startup or design agency experience with B2B brands
- Based in NYC or willing to move

Compensation & Logistics
Comp varies based on experience. Range of $100–150K base depending on experience, plus equity / stock options. This is a full-time, on-site position at our New York office.
