Overview
Terminal X is hiring a Media Partnerships & Content Lead to own how the world hears about us.
You'll run outbound media, reaching out to journalists, finance bloggers, podcasters, and X voices, lead partnership outreach across the fintech, AI, and institutional finance ecosystem, and build our brand from the ground up across content, social, and paid channels.
You'll work directly with the founding team to shape what gets said about Terminal X in the press and online to increase brand awareness.

Terminal X builds AI agents for finance. Our platform processes Bloomberg, FactSet, SEC filings, broker research, earnings transcripts, and clients' proprietary data, synthesizing it into actionable insights in seconds.

What You'll Do
1. Media & Press Relations
- Build and own relationships with reporters, editors, and producers covering fintech and AI (Bloomberg, WSJ, FT, Business Insider, The Information, Axios, etc.)
- Pitch stories, product launches, client wins, founder commentary, and draft press releases
- Cultivate finance voices on X, Substack, and podcasts; people who shape how institutional investors think about AI in the finance space
- Track coverage, build a media CRM, and measure what's working
- Plan, source, and launch paid targeted and strategic media campaigns
2. Partnerships
- Source and manage co-marketing partnerships with data providers, AI infrastructure companies, industry research firms, among others
- Own partner outreach end-to-end: identify, pitch, negotiate, and coordinate execution with the product team
- Build joint case studies and content collaborations that drive pipeline and credibility
- Locate and represent Terminal X alongside the product team at industry events, conferences, and finance meetups
- Monitor the AI-in-finance narrative and find openings for Terminal X
3. Content & Brand
- Own Terminal X's brand voice and content strategy across social, email, and the website as we expand from institutional to individual investors
- Produce short-form video and visual content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X)
- Run multi-channel campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Reddit; build and optimize email sequences for launches, nurture, and retention
- Write copy for ads, emails, landing pages, and social posts; turn complex AI and finance concepts into stories that resonate
- Track performance, run A/B tests, and iterate based on data; experiment with unconventional channels (subway ads, podcast sponsorships, creator partnerships)
Who You Are
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in communications, PR, partnerships, marketing, or journalism (new grads welcome with a strong internship or portfolio)
- Sharp written communication. You can draft high quality pitches, press releases, founder bios, ad copy, and social posts
- Interest in finance, AI, or tech space. You know enough to hold a conversation with reporters about what we do
- Proactive outreach instincts; excited to cold email reporters, DM finance accounts, and put yourself and the brand out there
- Hands-on with content production — comfortable shooting and editing short-form video (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut) and shipping campaigns end-to-end
Strong Differentiators
- Existing relationships with finance or tech journalists, podcasters, or bloggers
- Prior experience at a fintech, B2B SaaS, or AI startup, or at a PR/comms agency with tech or finance clients
- You've pitched and landed earned media before (publications, side projects, or previous employer)
- Track record running paid campaigns and reporting on ROI/CAC; familiarity with SEO and analytics
- Active on X, with a portfolio of content, campaigns, or a creator account that demonstrates audience engagement

Compensation & Logistics
Comp varies based on experience. Range of $90–120K base depending on experience, plus equity / stock options and performance bonuses tied to coverage, partnership, and growth milestones. This is a full-time, on-site position at our New York office.
