About the Job
We're hiring a Content Creator to concept, shoot, and publish fast-moving, culturally fluent content for Terminal X — an AI analyst and trader agent. This is a part-time or full-time role for creators who live and breathe finance, trading, investing, and the AI startup scene.
Role Overview
You'll be the lead creator producing content that feels native to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn — personal, fast, and market-driven. You should be comfortable on camera, have a distinct POV on markets and technology, and know how to turn a red day on the Nasdaq100 into a viral moment. If you can make bond auction demand sound interesting to a 25-year-old scrolling at midnight, let's talk.
What You'll Do
- Concept, script, shoot, and edit platform-native videos from your phone or desktop screen recordings.
- Turn market events, earnings drops, Fed decisions, and AI breakthroughs into reactive, trend-aligned content — think "market recap but make it culture."
- Develop recurring series and content hooks that can run weekly or monthly (e.g., "What Terminal X Caught Today," "60-Second Market Close," "AI vs. Wall Street," "Trade of the Week").
- Experiment with formats: hot takes, screen walkthroughs, "Day in the life of an AI trader," market reaction videos, explainer threads, meme content, and behind-the-scenes of building an AI fintech startup.
- Stay on top of TikTok/Reels trends, audio, and memes, and apply them to finance and AI in a way that doesn't feel forced.
- Deliver a consistent volume of content on a weekly basis with quick turnaround — markets don't wait and neither should the content.
- Incorporate performance feedback and iterate based on views, engagement, watch time, and follower growth.
What We're Looking For
- Platform-native creator: Proven experience creating high-performing content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, or LinkedIn — ideally in trading, finance, fintech, or AI/tech.
- On-camera presence: Comfortable as the face of content — authentic, confident, and conversational.
- Market-fluent POV: You actually follow the markets. You know what a CPI print is, why the Nasdaq sold off, and what CTAs are. Maybe you're a day-trader. You read charts, obsessed with technicals and numbers. You don't need us to explain the content — you're already thinking about it.
- Execution speed: Ability to move from idea to published content quickly and independently. A major market move at 3:30 PM should be content by 4:30 PM.
- Production skills: Strong self-shooting and editing skills. You know how to make a phone-shot video look polished, punchy, and memorable.
- Storytelling & hooks: You know how to open a video with a line that stops the scroll — "30-year bond demand just hit an 8-year high" should sound like a movie trailer, not a textbook.
- Portfolio: TikTok / YouTube / Instagram / LinkedIn handle or portfolio showcasing relevant, platform-native work in finance, tech, or adjacent spaces.
Style & Reference
We're NOT looking for a Bloomberg-style delivery (who watches that??)
Think: modern finfluencers, market Twitter energy, startup founder vlogs — someone who makes finance feel accessible, urgent, and a little irreverent. Strong personal style and a natural connection to markets, AI, and product.
Engagement Details
- Full-time (ideal): $100-$200k OTE plus stock options
- Or, freelance / contract, part-time with potential to scale. Month-to-month extension based on performance and content quality.
- Self-produced content, shot in your own environment, our offices, or New York City.
- Bonus if you're already creating finance or AI content with an engaged audience.
