Your Performance Dashboard provides a real-time snapshot of how you and your team are using the AI Agent.

It tracks key activity metrics such as queries asked, data synced, workflows created, and hours saved, helping you quickly understand what’s driving impact and how effectively Terminal X is being adopted across your firm.
Shortcuts '/' help you move faster with simple keyboard commands directly in chat.
You can quickly switch between Agents, surface suggested prompts to start a conversation, or jump to different tabs and tools without breaking your flow. Think of them like Excel shortcuts—a small habit that saves time and compounds into meaningful efficiency gains each day.

In the main search bar, you can access both of our AI Agents (Deep Research and Lite) built to think like an analyst and work at machine scale.
The Agents reason through problems the way you would, but can instantly process millions of documents, scan massive reports, surface hidden figures, and connect dots across sources that would take hours to piece together manually.
They handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on what humans do best: judgment, strategy, and decision-making.
Whether you’re running deep diligence or a quick lookup, Terminal X AI Agents becomes your always-on thought partner.

After logging in, you can enter your question into the main page search bar to instantly run analysis across U.S. equities, global markets, individual stocks, industries, and research topics.
Terminal X’s default mode is Deep Research, which uses our most advanced reasoning model and premium data sources to deliver significantly more detailed, in-depth answers.
In Deep Research mode, you can upload up to three files directly into the chat. The agent will analyze the uploaded materials and deliver customized, file-based research tailored to your documents.

In the chat interface on the left, you can conduct research and ask Agent any followup questions.
In this Deep Research mode, the Agent goes beyond simply providing answers. You can view the entire Agent’s reasoning steps, referenced data sources, and the analytical tools it used to generate the answer.
Through this transparent research workflow, you can directly see how the AI thinks and analyzes problems, much like a real analyst.

A key differentiator of the Terminal X Agent UX/UI is that, as answers are generated, a “Source Table” appears on the right side, providing document-level analysis and “ground-truth” references to audit simultaneously.

When you click a row (reference source) in the table, the Source Viewer on the right retrieves and displays the corresponding primary document.

Clicking the “Sort by AI Relevance” button sorts the source documents and answers in the Source Table based on Terminal X’s relevance algorithm. To view the most recent sources instead, click “Sort by Recent.”

Sources directly used in generating the response shown in the left chat interface are highlighted with a blue vertical bar next to their ID.
In Terminal X, every qualitative and quantitative output produced by the Agent can be fully audited.
Because this indexing accuracy is code-based and independent of the LLM, there are no hallucination or reliability issues commonly found in general AI models.
If you prefer faster responses from the Agent, you can enter the shortcut command /lite in the search bar to switch to Lite Agent mode.
This mode is optimized for speed, concise answers, and clear trade consultations as well as pulse check on the market. It focuses on the most relevant points from a retail investor’s perspective, delivering straightforward and actionable insights.

Unlike Deep Research mode, Lite Agent does not provide source-level answers or table outputs. The responses are lighter and more high-level, omitting deep analysis.

The Watchlist tab is a dedicated, real-time insight feed for your portfolio. It monitors price movements, news, and events for your selected tickers, and provides premium data–driven analysis that instantly explains why a stock is moving.

During market hours as well as pre- and after-market sessions, any meaningful price changes, news, or events automatically appear in the central feed, along with clear explanations of the underlying drivers behind each stock, sector, or index movement. The right panel also provides real-time Market Live updates and Breaking News, so you can stay on top of major market developments at a glance.
A default watchlist is provided when your account is created. You can freely customize your monitoring setup using +Add Ticker, +Add Group, and Edit options. Various asset types, including ETFs, can be added, and additional data or asset classes can be supported upon request.
Custom Report enables you to automate market letters, IC memos, due diligence questionnaires, and more. The Agent leverages both Terminal X’s premium data sources and your indexed internal data to generate polished, export-ready documents that match your firm’s existing format and tone.
There are two ways to generate reports in Terminal X:
Many clients start in chat using Deep Research, prompting the Agent directly to draft a memo or summary. This approach is fast and flexible, making it ideal for quick first drafts or ad-hoc analysis.
For more structured outputs, Custom Report provides greater control over format, tone, and depth. Each section follows a dedicated research process, pulling together broader context across sources and synthesizing more comprehensive insights. By using your firm’s templates and selected data inputs, you can generate consistently formatted, institution-ready reports that match your internal standards.
Coming soon: by popular request, Custom Report will be available directly inside chat. You’ll be able to upload your firm’s templates, select relevant data, and generate fully formatted, exportable Word documents—all without leaving the conversation.

Choose a report template from this page. If you don’t see the report type you need, click Custom Report to upload your firm’s template. The Agent will follow your structure, formatting, and writing style to match your firm's standards.

After selecting a report type (e.g., Investment Memo), enter your guidance in the prompt to tell the Agent what to focus on. In the Upload Sample Report section, you’ll find a pre-loaded example. You can keep it or replace it with your firm’s sample to better align tone, structure, and formatting.

Click Generate to start creating your report. Once complete, it will appear in My Archive. You can continue working elsewhere in Terminal X while the report generates in the background.

In this tab, you can immediately see how to use the Agent through customized workflows designed to match each department’s real-world tasks and processes.

Example: “Investment Thesis Builder”
Workflow chat threads accumulate context over time. When you ask a follow-up request such as, “Update this for this week while keeping the same structure and output format,” the Agent maintains the previously defined structure and format, and updates only the numbers and content using the latest data.
For recurring tasks like weekly reports, we recommend creating and continuously using a single workflow thread. This allows you to preserve prior context and prompts while seamlessly continuing your work.
After selecting your desired workflow template, enter follow-up questions in the chat to continue the conversation. All workflow-generated chat threads are private spaces visible only to you, and cannot be accessed by other users.

Terminal X’s Agent is powered by premium data delivered through partnerships with trusted global data vendors and investment banks such as FactSet, CapIQ, JPMorgan, and Bloomberg.
While the Agent already has access to robust premium real-time market data, true value is unlocked when it has your firm’s internal data synced through the Private Data Room (PDR). Essentially, acting as your firm’s real intelligence layer.
For Enterprise users, we provide white-glove support to help integrate your internal drives, emails, and documents into the PDR. Our team works closely with you to set everything up including structured data connections and department-based access controls
The example screen shown below uses mock data for demonstration purposes. In practice, we directly index your company’s internal data, folders, and drives within Terminal X. You can select specific PDR files or folders and ask the Agent questions based on those sources. You may also upload files directly to run Agent Q&A on your own documents.

You can also upload your own PDF or Excel files for indexing.
Supported file types include: .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .pdf, .pptx, .ppt, .docx, .doc, .csv.
Uploaded personal files are 1) securely synced as private documents, 2) accessible only from your individual account, and 3) optionally shareable across your team or department if you request Access Level adjustments for collaborative use.

Files and data uploaded directly by users are not stored permanently and are never used to train LLM models. All user data and documents are encrypted and securely protected.
The Agent retrieves all of your existing subscribed data in real time and incorporates them into your research results. Instead of logging into multiple portals or switching between tabs to manually search for the information you need, use Terminal X as a centralized data hub for your firm.
If there are additional public sources or private/company-level subscriptions you would like to connect, enter the login credentials through our secure, encrypted environment.
